Hi, I'm Steph, a worldwide elopement photographer based in Virginia and Utah. I share my life with my husband and our French bulldog, Ronald (Yes, Ronald haha). Beyond my love for them, I’m absolutely in love with photographing elopements. My husband and I eloped, and we really enjoyed the freedom it gave us. Now, it’s your turn!
Elopements are about saying ‘yes’ to who you truly are as a couple, without the pressure of tradition.
My husband and I were deep into wedding planning when we realized; this should be about us. So we canceled everything and chose to elope. Eloping isn’t about cutting ties, it’s about honoring what matters most to you. I want you to feel that freedom, that joy, just like we did.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My dad gave me my first camera, and I was hooked. But in 2015, everything changed. My dad passed away suddenly in a plane accident over the pacific, and for a long time, I couldn’t even pick up a camera without being reminded of the pain. But life has a way of guiding you, and through a twist of fate, I ended up back in photography and I’ve never looked back.
Now, when I pick up my camera, I don’t see the pain. I see my dad cheering me on, and I see you. It’s my honor to capture your story, just as it is; unposed, real, and full of heart.
I guess it'd tie it all together by saying; you are the reason I do what I do. After years of healing, I’ve found clarity. I don’t have all the answers, but I know this: God led me through it all. Looking back, it’s amazing how my path led me to elopements.
For a while, I thought I’d be a traditional wedding photographer, but something kept pulling me in a different direction. When my husband and I eloped on the coast where my dad passed, it felt like a sign, like a moment of healing and a gift from Him.
That experience transformed me, and now I want to give you more than just photos. I want to give you a day, an experience that reflects who you truly are as a couple. Something you can feel deeply.
