What I see a lot of photographers struggle with is questionnaires and what in the world to ask. Questionnaires are sets of questions designed to capture all the info you need for each client. They also provide clients with more details about what to expect and how to prepare.

Sure, you can create new questions to send to each client, but that will take FOREVER! Using a wedding questionnaire template for each of my clients has improved my business so much and client experience.

Level up your Client Experience with Questionnaires

Really, questionnaires are a no-brainer! I couldn’t run my business without them, seriously.

For one, they help me get to know my clients in so much detail (finding out their likes, interests, photography requests, etc.), which allows me to deliver a more professional and rewarding client experience. Using the info I get from templates always means my clients are happier with their photos, which is my main goal.

These questionnaire also help you guide your clients. Many people are uneasy about being photographed. They don’t know what to expect, so they look to you, as their photographer, for planning and guidance. Your templates will honestly be a lifesaver in helping your clients prepare for their shoot, which makes things easier for you and them. 

Of course, these questionnaires can be used over and over again, which saves you SO MUCH TIME!

As a wedding photographer, which guide should I purchase first?

These guide I create at nearly 3-4 in the morning when I get away from editing or other busy tasks. They’re completely a labor of love and I think I’ve got them nearly perfect! 1. Getting to know your clients

My Get to Know Questionnaire Template is what I send out to every new couple to find out more about them before we work together. I realized that coming up with questions that would capture the info I needed was taking forever, so this template is a lifesaver!

You can use it for weddings, engagements, and even elopements, as planning a dream elopement can take a lot of time (especially if your client wants you to travel to their destination). 

2. The Wedding timeline

Managing timelines during a wedding can be so hard – I know you just want to take beautiful pictures, but your clients are also counting on you to capture every gorgeous moment of their day without causing them to run late. 

So how do you know how much time to allocate for getting ready shots, couples’ portraits, or family photos? Don’t stress – I’ve shared all of this information in my Timeline 101 guide. 3. Final wedding questionnaire
