This microwedding at the Salt Flats was everything Erin and Cole dreamed of. Planning your wedding at the Bonneville Salt Flats is so exciting and for good reason. Plan a small intimate elopement or a bigger microwedding with close family and friends. This place is full of salt, yes salt which makes for the most dreamiest photos you can imagine. When Erin and Cole reached out with the idea of having a microwedding at the flats, it was a done deal. With no direction at first and not sure where to start, we got on a call to get all questions sorts. Getting married at the Salt Flats may just be easier than most make it out to be.
The Salt Flats is the dream location for any wedding or elopement. These two got married in August which is the perfect month when it comes to the Salt Flats. Did you know the Salt Flats turn into water in the winter months? Months to avoid would be like November, December and really any fall or winter month. If you are seeking the gorgeous crystalized ground the Bonneville Flats bring, think about late spring and summer months. The crystalized ground is so eyecatching and brings in a beautful texture to your wedding photos. Erin and Cole also brought some of their closest family and friends (on the biggest bus you could imagine) to the flats and it was everything and more (plus major tans aka bring sunscreen).
